PMCA Celebrates 50 years

The Parkersburg-Marietta Contractors Association recently celebrated 50 years in business with a banquet at the Nemesis Shrine in Parkersburg.  Those in attendance were PMCA contractor members and associate members, local officials, local business agents, and other representatives.   After a social hour and dinner, the guest speaker for the evening was Stephen R. Lindauer, the CEO of The Association of Union Constructors (of which PMCA is a member), and the Impartial Secretary/CEO of the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee.  Lindauer praised the PMCA for its work and efforts over the past 50 years, and stressed how everyone involved in the construction industry must work together – from the contractors to the building trades to the client/customers – in a “new school” approach.  The PMCA works to bring together these three groups for the benefit of everyone involved.

Executive Director, Clint Suggs said, “Anything that we can do as an association that benefits the contractors in the valley is PMCA’s goal.”
